Every trade gets its own card
Log a trade in a few fields. Scale out in parts, attach the chart, tag the setup and note how you felt. The card keeps it all, and your stats are read straight from it.
Partial exits
Scale in and out. Every fill is recorded, and P&L is worked out per fill.
Stop and R-multiple
Add your stop and every trade is measured in R, so a $50 account and a $50,000 account compare fairly.
Commissions, swaps and fees
Stored per trade, so net P&L is exact, down to the cent.
Tags for setups, mistakes and emotions
Each tag gets its own performance breakdown. You find out which setup pays and which habit costs.
Notes and screenshots
Write what you saw and attach the chart. Screenshots are compressed to WebP so they don’t fill your storage.
Daily journal
A page for each day: the plan before the open, the review after the close.
Sample trade.
Import your statement. Match it to the cent.
Drop in the export from your platform. Tradijourney reads every fill and checks its net P&L against the statement’s own total, so the numbers you review are the numbers your broker paid.

- Any CSV
- Partial closes, commissions, swaps and fees are read per fill.
- Duplicates are skipped by broker order ID, so importing the same file twice changes nothing.
- Any other CSV goes through the column mapper, which remembers your mapping for each account.
- You see a preview of every import before anything is saved.

Numbers you can check by hand
Every metric is calculated from your trades each time you look. Nothing is cached, so an edit or an import can never leave a stale number behind. Here is what each one means, worked out on a sample month.
| Metric | Meaning | Sample value |
|---|---|---|
| Net P&L | What you made minus what you lost, after commissions, swaps and fees. | +$4,818.42 |
| Win rate | Winning trades divided by all trades. | 46.9% |
| Average win / loss | The typical winner next to the typical loser. | +$288.93 / −$143.28 |
| Expectancy | What an average trade is worth: net P&L divided by the number of trades. | +$59.49 |
| Profit factor | Gross profit divided by gross loss. Above 1.00, the winners paid for the losers. | 1.78 |
| Average R | Results measured in units of the risk you planned with your stop. | +0.36R |
| Max drawdown | The largest fall from a peak in your equity to the low that followed. | −$1,241.52 |
| Streaks | The longest run of winners, and of losers, in a row. | 7 wins, 9 losses |

The dashboard puts your equity curve, a P&L calendar and breakdowns by setup, symbol, weekday, session and hour on one screen. Patterns you can’t feel trade by trade become obvious over a month. The dashboard needs a free Google sign-in; your stats, performance by tag and the journal itself don’t.

Know where you stand with your prop firm
Enter your firm’s rules once. Every trade you log or import updates your progress, and you get a warning before you get near a limit, not after you’ve broken it.
- Profit target and minimum trading days
- Daily loss limit, reset at your firm’s time
- Maximum drawdown, static or trailing
- Consistency rule on your best day
- Templates for one-step, two-step and instant funding accounts, all editable

Close to the limit. A day above $558.72 would break it.
Your trades stay in this browser
No account, no cloud, no one reading your trades. Tradijourney is a progressive web app: it loads once, then works on this device, online or off.
Browsers can clear site data
Clearing your browser deletes the journal, and Safari removes storage for sites you haven’t opened in about seven days. Export a backup regularly. Tradijourney reminds you after a set number of trades or days, and asks the browser to keep your data persistent after your first trade.

Questions traders ask
Is Tradijourney really free?
Yes. Every feature on this page is free to use, and there is no account to create. You open the journal and start logging trades.
Do I need to sign up or give an email address?
No. There is no signup, no login and no email. The journal runs in your browser and works as soon as the page loads.
Where is my trading data stored?
In your browser only, using its built-in storage (IndexedDB). Your trades, notes and screenshots are never uploaded to a server, because there is no server to upload them to.
What happens if I clear my browser or switch devices?
Clearing site data deletes the journal, and some browsers (Safari in particular) clear storage for sites you have not opened in about seven days. Export a JSON backup regularly. The export button sits in the main navigation, and importing that file on another device or browser restores everything.
Which platforms can I import trades from?
MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView exports, plus any CSV through the column mapper, which remembers your mapping per account. Duplicates are skipped by broker order ID, and commissions, swaps, fees and partial closes are handled so your net P&L matches the platform report to the cent.
Can it track prop firm rules?
Yes. Set the profit target, daily loss limit, maximum drawdown (static or trailing), minimum trading days and consistency rule for each account. Progress bars show where you stand, and a warning appears as you get close to a limit. Start from a template and edit it to match your firm.
Does it work offline and on my phone?
Yes. Tradijourney is a progressive web app, so you can install it from the browser and it opens without a connection. The layout works on phones, tablets and desktops.
Can I journal forex, futures and CFDs in one place?
Yes. Create as many accounts as you need. Each account has its own currency, and money is stored exactly in that currency, so a JPY account and a USD account both add up correctly.
How are win rate, expectancy and drawdown calculated?
From your trades, every time you look. Nothing is cached, so editing or importing a trade can never leave a stale number. Each metric has a plain definition you can check by hand.
Your next trade deserves a card.
Free, with no signup. Your trades are stored in this browser only, and you can export them whenever you like.
